Singapore International Preschool

Founded in 2022 and started operations as Singapore International Preschool based on the foundation developed by MerlionKids International Preschool Singapore.

With a vision of nurturing well-rounded children with imaginative minds, positive attitudes and strength of character, Singapore International Preschool has an unique preschool programme that incorporates the Singapore Curriculum Methodology which provides each child with a comprehensive and holistic education by nurturing core skills and knowledge, alongside intelligent thinking habits and dispositions.

We focus on the use of Experiential Learning, deemed by experts as one of the most interesting, engaging, and effective ways to acquire new concepts. Children are encouraged to be expressive mini-explorers as we help them achieve their developmental outcomes and will nurture your child into a competent explorer, an imaginative thinker, and a creative problem solver.

Singapore International Preschool offers Full-Day and Half-Day child care options for children aged 12 months to 12 years. Preschool Classes are divided into 5 levels – Toddlers (Age 12 months to 18 months) Playgroup (1.5 years to 2.5 years), Nursery 1 (2.5 years to 3.5years), Nursery 2 (3.5 years to 4,5 years) , and Kindergarten 1 & Kindergarten 2 (4.5 years above).

Our programme emphasizes child-initiated learning, empowering our young learners to explore and experience the world around them. Teachers plan and integrate language experiences, numeracy, music and movement, aesthetics and creativity, motor skills and social interactions through activities like circle time, sensory art, and pretend play. Physical development of gross motor skills and fine motor skills are achieved through play-based activities that concurrently allow your child to form close bonds with their friends. The knowledge and skills gained provide solid foundations for your child to progress on to primary school years.

Curriculum and Approach

Our teaching approach is based on 8 multiple intelligence

Our curriculum will be based on the integrated “Singapore International curriculum” by adopting to Sri Lankan early childhood context which promotes holistic development of the child. We believe Play-based method build the confidence, creativity and leadership of the children while kids learn in an age-appropriate way.

Play is a way of learning for children and we enable children to learn through at their own rate. Values that support learning through play include:
